Microsoft 365 E5 Customers

Organizations with Microsoft 365 E5 licenses receive a monthly allocation of Security Compute Units (SCUs) at no additional cost. Specifically, for every 1,000 user licenses, 400 SCUs are provided monthly, up to a maximum of 10,000 SCUs per month. This allocation is designed to support typical security scenarios. For example: An organization with 400 seats receives 160 SCUs per month. An organization with 4,000 seats receives 1,600 SCUs per month. Standalone Security Copilot

For organizations without Microsoft 365 E5 licenses or those requiring additional capacity, Security Copilot is available as a standalone service. This service operates on a consumption-based model using SCUs.
